ThinLine English Reins
The ThinLine English Reins are used worldwide for people with sore hands, small hands or arthritis!
Benefits and Features of our English Reins
- Perfect for sore hands, small hands or arthritis
- Allows riders to have a soft grip
- Non-slip even in wet weather!
- Improves Communication and Connection
Why do you need the ThinLine English Reins?
The ThinLine English Reins express softness and quiet stability in hand-to-bit contact are key goals. Holding a rein can create tension. When the hand is tense, this tension moves from the hand all the way up to the shoulder. Our rubber grip style reins, wrapped in no-slip ThinLine, allow riders to have a soft, comfortable yet secure grip which translates to a soft, elastic connection to the bridle.
We guarantee the ThinLine Engislisch Rein will not slip even in wet and lathery situations. A favourite of show jumpers and dressage riders alike. Trail riders also cannot get enough of the comfortable feel. The ThinLine English reins are used worldwide for people with sore hands, small hands or arthritis!
While initially developed for riders with arthritis, riders with normal grips also demonstrate improved elasticity and connection with their horses when riding with ThinLine English reins.
The English rein is durable and guaranteed to improve communication and confidence with your horse.
How do you take care of your English Reins?
Cleaning the ThinLine English Reins is super easy! Wipe the rein down with a baby wipe prior to riding can keep light arena dust from settling and improve the non-slip function.
Make sure your reins are clear of chemicals! Show Sheen and some fly sprays will eventually cause mild stiffening of the edges of the foam. If you are using chemicals please rinse your hands before riding and you will greatly improve the longevity of your reins. Temperature can alter the feel of the reins. Â The warmer they are, the softer they will be and the more non-slip. Your hand generally provides enough warmth to get the rein to the optimal performance temperature.
What length should I choose for the English Reins?
- 54″ – 137 cm; This is the standard length.
Your horse can lower his head without coming to contact and just relax the neck. - 60″ – 152 cm; Works perfect for the larger horses or big/long-necked horses
The length of your English reins is important for your horse’s comfort but most horses will do well in a standard length.

I love them. I put them on as soon as I got them and would not go back. They are comfortable on your hands and I have helped with the issue I had of the reins being pulled through my fingers. I will definitely recommend them to friends.

So comfy and feels like I have more control and contact. The stops help my thumb and first finger grip really well.
